Ceramic Seal Dish Workshop 15/11/24
Ceramic Seal Dish Workshop 15/11/24
Friday November 15th 2024 18:30 - 21:00
Come join us in Penwortham, Preston for a fun-filled ceramic Penguin dish workshop!
Get your creative juices flowing as you build and decorate your very own seal dish to take home.
No prior experience needed - just bring your enthusiasm and we'll provide all the materials.
The dish will be fired and clear glazed ready to collect or be delivered (small extra charge for delivery) around 2-3 weeks after the workshop.
This in-person event promises to be a great opportunity to unleash your creative side and connect with fellow ceramic enthusiasts or even a friend or family member you wish to book with. Don't miss out on this unique workshop by local artists!
Venue: Penwortham Community Centre, Kingsfold Drive, Penwortham, Preston, PR1 9EQ
All the tools and materials needed for this course are provided as well as the coloured slips, bisque firing, clear glazing and glaze firing.
Refreshments (tea, coffee, hot chocolate and water) are provided but if there are any special requirements ie decaf or dairy milk alternatives please let me know well in advance so that I can make provisions for this.
You do not need to have any previous experience with ceramics to be able to do this workshop, we work through each step as a group so no one gets left behind.
We recommend that the youngest age for the workshop is 12, there is no upper age limit but we must ask that every child under the age of 16 is accompanied by an adult. The accompanying adult can either pay for their own ticket and make a piece as well or they can come for free but purely to supervise.
Artist Sara Hood holds an up to date DBS certificate.
